For people who want universal health care, I have a question?
How many of you do not have insurance but work? Now how many of you have a cell phone, or cable internet or cable or satellite? How many of you crying about not having health care, but wear designer jeans? How many are going to eat all the time? If you are complaining because they are not successful enough to get a job with benefits, then why not set priorities instead of wanting me and other people who work hard to afford health care, so you can keep your iPhone?
As many of you have responded may know by now, I am currently undergoing treatment for terminal cancer, and was originally Prognos with only 60-10 months. That was about 2-1/2 years. There is no cure for metastatic colon cancer. My oncologist is in Canada. I had an appointment with her on Monday, and asked about the care nationalized health in Canada. He told my wife and me that she came to the U.S. to practice medicine because he wanted to treat their patients with drugs that she thought was best for their particular type of cancer, not what the government says she would enjoy. His sister is in Canada, who received a call from you long time no. His sister told my doctor that had a large tumor in the uterus, and that the doctor in Canada said it had to be removed. I wanted to do an appointment for surgery, but his doctor told him he had to wait 18 months before he could undergo surgery. The sister asked my doctor what could do. My doctor told us that she began to tell his sister to come to the U.S. for surgery and treatment. But instead, she told him to go into the room and scream like emegency I was in the worst conditions of unbearable pain, she told him to exaggerate the severity of pain, and she receives immediate attention. She did, and had the surgery immediately. My doctor says I will be emergency situations in hospitals in Canada, but has to wait in line for months if not years, treatments for non-emegency and surgeries. Does anyone in their right mind wants the U.S. be like Canada in terms of health is at stake? Absolutely not. I would be dead already if I were in Canada. No cancer treatment in hospital emergency rooms.
