iOS4 iphone update help?
I tried to update my iphone 3g to the new software some time ago and completely crashed my iTunes, and put the phone in recovery mode. So I went to a store in my town center called KCRS that sells apple products and wiped everything off my phone but managed to restart it for free. Now if I could go KCRS update my iPhone to new software iOS4 or I have to do it at home? Just do not want to risk replacing it in recovery mode again. Any help would be great thanks:)
To update to its iPhone 3G iOS4, you first need to update iTunes 9.2, you can download iTunes 9.2 or update using Apple Update manager. Once you have updated your iTunes, connect your device, accepts the terms and visit the summary page for the device. On this page you will see a button to "Check for updates", click on it to see if iOS4 the new update is available for your device. If there is one who can then follow the normal upgrade process and its iPhone 3G will be updated to use iOS4. Enjoy.
